How Pip handles your information

Pip is an AI assistant. Your messages are read by an AI service, Anthropic's Claude, so Pip can write replies.

Your information belongs to you. We keep your email threads with Pip for free for as long as you keep using the service, so Pip can remember what you've asked and what we've made for you. You can ask us at any time to erase it, and we will, then confirm when it's done. The one thing we keep is our tax record that a payment happened (the date, the item, and the amount), without your messages or email address, because the law requires it. PayPal keeps its own payment records.

To ask us to erase your information, email askpip.help@gmail.com.

We email your final files and keep a copy for 30 days after delivery, then delete it. Drafts you haven't approved are deleted after 14 days. Please save your files when you receive them. If you'd like us to keep them longer, Keepsake Storage keeps them for 12 months for $5. Copies in the backups of the services we use can take a short while to clear.
